In a dominant display at HK Football Club Ground on Sunday (February 9th), Tai Po clinched an emphatic 4:0 victory over HKFC in the BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League encounter, claiming all three points.
The visitors demonstrated their attacking intent from the opening whistle. The first clear-cut opportunity came in the 7th minute when Chan Siu Kwan Philip whipped in a dangerous cross from the left flank, finding Lucas Da Silva whose powerful right-footed effort whistled past the upright. Minutes later, Igor Sartori's pinpoint corner found Gabriel Roberto, but the defender's header was expertly gathered by the goalkeeper.
Tai Po's relentless pressure continued, and they nearly broke through on the half-hour mark when Lucas Da Silva connected with Chan Siu Kwan Philip's delivery, forcing a spectacular save from the goalkeeper who tipped the ball behind.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 33rd minute through a well-worked move. Lee Ka Ho's precise long ball found Lucas Da Silva, who showed excellent vision to pick out Chan Siu Kwan Philip, and he made no mistake from close range, making it 1:0.

Tsang Chun Hin's precise delivery found Leonardo Peres unmarked, but the striker couldn't direct his header on target. The hosts continued to probe through Jesus Salazar and Li Chung Hang, but their efforts proved futile against Tai Po's resolute defense.
The visitors put the game beyond doubt in the 69th minute with a moment of individual brilliance. Igor Sartori showcased his technical prowess, cutting inside from the left before unleashing an unstoppable right-footed strike that nestled into the far corner.
The rout was completed in the 72nd minute through a well-rehearsed set-piece routine. Patrick Peral's expertly delivered free-kick found Bah Habib, who intelligently squared the ball across goal for Gabriel Roberto to tap home from point-blank range.
Tai Po could have added to their impressive goal tally in the closing stages. Patrick Peral demonstrated excellent control in the box, turning sharply before forcing a fingertip save from the goalkeeper. From the resulting corner, Gabriel Roberto's powerful header was acrobatically parried away, denying him his second goal.
Finally, Tai Po beat HKFC by 4:0, securing all three points.
