In a thrilling BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League encounter at Mong Kok Stadium on Sunday (February 2), Kitchee demonstrated their superiority with a commanding 3:0 victory over Eastern, claiming all three points.

Kitchee wasted no time asserting their dominance, breaking the deadlock in the 8th minute through a clinical finish. The architect of the opener was Luis Machado, who delivered an inch-perfect cross from the right flank, finding Sherzod Temirov unmarked in the penalty area. He made no mistake, powering his header past the helpless Eastern goalkeeper.

Eastern responded immediately, nearly equalizing in the 10th minute. Set-piece specialist Leung Kwun Chung whipped in a dangerous corner from the left, finding Narh whose goal-bound header required a spectacular one-handed save from the goalkeeper.

Minutes later, Fiel Welthon exhibited fantastic footwork to create space in the box, but his powerful drive was met with an equally impressive save from the goalkeeper.
