Kitchee met up with BC Rangers in Mong Kok Stadium on Saturday night for the 2024-25 Boc Life Hong Kong Premier League clash. Kitchee beat BC Rangers by 8:0.

BC Rangers started brightly, with Lau Chi Lok's header from Cheung Kwong Yin's right-wing cross going just wide in the third minute. However, Kitchee broke the deadlock in the 13th minute. Luis Machado found Walter Junior on the edge of the penalty area, who curled a left-footed shot into the top corner for a 1:0 lead.

Kitchee doubled their advantage in the 21st minute. Walter Junior beat his man on the right wing and crossed, Ruslan Mingazov flicked it on, and Luis Machado tapped in from close range.

The dominant Kitchee scored again in the 37th minute. Ruslan Mingazov's long run down the left ended with a pass to Luis Machado, whose initial shot was saved but rebounded off him into the net, completing his brace and making it 3:0.

Just before halftime, Kitchee added a fourth. Luis Machado's cross from the right found Ruslan Mingazov, who laid it off for the unmarked Fiel Welthon to score easily.

Kitchee's onslaught continued after the break. In the 54th minute, Rey Aaron's through ball set up Ruslan Mingazov for a calm finish, extending the lead to 5:0.

Two minutes later, a slick team move saw Rey Aaron feed Ruslan Mingazov, who set up Fiel Welthon to round the keeper and slot home for 6:0.

Despite their dominance, Kitchee kept pressing. Fiel Welthon missed a chance late on, hitting the side netting after rounding the keeper from Rey Aaron's clever pass.

In the 79th minute, Sherzod Temirov pounced on a poor back pass, calmly finishing from the edge of the box to make it 7:0. The rout was completed in the 88th minute when Poon Pui Hin latched onto Rey Aaron's through ball to score.

Finally, Kitchee defeated BC Rangers by 8:0 and secured three points.
