The long-awaited 2021-2022 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League (HKPL) will begin on Oct 23 with 8 teams playing for three round-robin competition in the new season. Enters seventh year, HKPL has arrived at a milestone. We hope to bring more football fans to support the local football and witness this progress.
Along with the representatives of 8 football teams, Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) held a press conference today at Cordis Hotel to announce the new season of the HKPL and introduce the sponsors and partners. HKFA is honored to have the title sponsor BOC Life to be with us since the start of the HKPL and also the continual sponsorship from Nike Hong Kong Limited for official match balls and the ground staff gears.
Mr. Pui Kwan Kay, Chairman of HKFA showed his appreciation to BOC Life, other sponsors and partners for their continual support. Mr. Pui said. “I am excited about the new season starting from 23 October. The participating teams actively recruited new players and worked hard on their trainings. We have two new representatives in the league this season, HKFC and HK U23. I believe matches will be more competitive, and we are looking forward to the new season. Once again, thank you for all the support and involvement from our sponsors and partners. With the participation from all of you, we hope to engage more football fans. Finally, I wish all the teams successful games ahead.”
