The game started off with a slow tempo and not many attacking chances. Crownity North District took the initiative and created an opportunity when Kennedy delivered a sublime through pass to Lam Lok Kan Jordan, who penetrated the penalty area and knocked the ball towards the goalmouth, only to be thwarted by the opposing defenders and goalkeeper. BC Rangers also had their moments, with Umeofia attempting a long-range shot from outside the box, but it failed to trouble the goalkeeper.
In the 14th minute, BC Rangers earned a free-kick opportunity at the edge of the penalty area, but Yiu Hao Ming's shot went over the crossbar.

The second half saw both teams adopting a more attacking approach. In the 54th minute, Crownity North District broke the deadlock as Kendy Renato shook off his marker on the left side, delivered a cross into the penalty area, and Wong Wai Kwok arrived at the far post to convert, giving Crownity North District a 1:0 lead.

BC Rangers took control of the game thereafter. In the 69th minute, Kilama headed the ball from the top of the penalty area, and Chiu Ching Yu Sergio unleashed a powerful long-range shot that struck the post.
It wasn't until the 80th minute that BC Rangers' persistence paid off. Kanda Yumemi's free-kick into the penalty area was cleared by Weverton but fell to Au Yeung Yiu Chung at the far post. He unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner of the net. Finally, BC Rangers secured a 1:1 draw against Crownity North District, with each team earning one point.
