Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK) squared off against Kitchee on Saturday night in Tsing Yi Northeast Park for a fierce battle in the Jockey Club Women's Football League (1st Division). Kitchee defeated Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK) 2:0 on the evening and moved into the top spot of the league table.

Kitchee started the game aggressively and applied instant pressure towards the Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK) goal, yet shots from Cham Ching Man, Fu Chiu Man failed to put goalkeeper Lee Yi Yan under pressure.

On the 23rd minute, Cheung Wai Ki made a powerful run with the ball and eventually fired a long range shot, only to be denied by Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK) goalkeeper Lee Yi Yan.

Late in the first half, Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK) had decent chances to take the lead. However, Chan Wing Lam’ s shot sailed over the Kitchee crossbar.

The first half concluded with both sides locked in a goalless draw.

Kitchee busted the game open and took the lead on the 56th minute. Ho Yuet Ning connected with a teammate’s delivery and blasted the ball home through the far side. Kitchee was up 1:0.

Deep in stoppage time, Tsang Ho Yan Letti found herself on the receiving end of a teammate’s forward pass, drilled the ball home in style and made it a 2:0 lead for Kitchee.
