Golik North District met up with Kowloon City in North District Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon (17th January) for the 2025-26 BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League clash. Golik North District beat Kowloon City by 2:1.
In the 5th minute, Chiu Wan-chun delivered a cross from the right byline, and Krayon headed it in, giving Kowloon City the lead. North District immediately launched a counter-attack. In the 7th minute, corner kick from the right was headed on by Sameul, but Cheung Kwai-wa made the save. Kim, Kayron, and Kang then took shots, but none were converted. In the 30th minute, Yilber received a pass and turned to shoot inside the box, but his shot went wide. Kowloon City led 1-0 at halftime.
In the second half, North District intensified their attack, bringing on Bobby and Law Hiu-chung. In the 57th minute, Elian took another corner, and Samuel, positioned near the post, headed it in, leveling the score at 1-1. In the 65th minute, Lo Kong Wai broke through on the right and took a shot, but it was saved by Cheung Kwai-wa.
In the 89th minute, substitute Diego received a long pass, broke through the defense, and calmly chipped the ball over goalkeeper Cheung Kwai-wa to score, giving the North District the lead. Ultimately, the North District rallied to defeat Kowloon City 2-1, securing all three points.
