Starved of chances, Hong Kong Football managed to mount a rare offensive. Lee Chun Yin Ryan skilfully evaded his marker from the midfield, feeding Chow Timothy Stephen on the right. Chow reciprocated, sending the ball back to Lee Chun Yin Ryan, but his tight-angled shot was denied by the alert goalkeeper.

In the 84th minute, Lee Man slotted in a final goal. Following Ngan Lok Fung's header, an attempted clearance saw Lau Hok Ming collide with the goalkeeper, leaving the goal unguarded. Chang Hei Yin capitalized on the opportunity, calmly slotting into the open goal.

At the final whistle, Lee Man beat Hong Kong Football Club with a resounding 4:0 victory, bagging a crucial three points.
