The match kicked off with Kitchee showing aggression early on, but their attempt was thwarted as Cheung Pui Yan's shot within the penalty box failed to find the target. Chelsea Soccer School (HK), having found their rhythm and composure, began to dominate the game. They drew first blood in the 5th minute when Man Yuet Ching, after successfully evading her marker in the penalty area, unleashed a powerful left-footed strike that found the back of the net, pushing Chelsea Soccer School (HK) into a 1:0 lead.

The 15th minute saw Chelsea Soccer School (HK) continuing their onslaught. Wong Hiu Ting's shot from a tight angle in the penalty area narrowly missed the target. Not long after, she made a daring run through the center, penetrating the defense line for a shot at goal, but it was comfortably saved by Li Sze Ying due to lack of power.
