The 2022-2023 Hong Kong Women's Footballer Awards Ceremony was successfully held this evening (June 26). Women's Football League awards and “Women's Footballer of the Year” were presented (Voting Mechanism refer to appendix) and the list of winners and detailed result are as follow –

Appendix
“2022-2023 Women’s Footballer of the Year” Voting Mechanism
(1) Who are eligible for club nomination?
1) All 2022-2023 female players registered in HKFA, and
2) Playing in Jockey Club women’s Division 1 league, and
3) Minimum 60% playing time in the whole season
The club CANNOT nominate player who has serious violent behavior eg found guilty with direct red card during the season.
(2) Procedure of Nomination
1) A Panel of 3 members (Technical Director, Technical Advisor and Women’s Football Manager) approves the nomination list.
2) Voting Eligibility:
*Head coach of each D1 club ( *can only vote for other clubs)
**HK women’s Representative Team Head coach (** vote counts for double rating)
3) Each voter can vote 3 players from 8 candidates with order 1-3 they deemed most deserving of the award:
Order 1 = 3 points; Order 2 = 2 points; Order 3 = 1 point
4) The player with the highest no. of points will be awarded as HKFA Women’s Footballer of the Year. If more than one best player receives the same point, the player from the team with higher final league ranking will receive the award.
