The Hong Kong, China Representative Team will participate in an international friendly match against Macau at home on 19 March 2025, in preparation for the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers Final Round, away against Singapore on the same international football match day.

The team's head coach, Ashley Westwood stated "Our absolute first priority will be qualified for the Asian Cup. The match against Macau will provide the team with an engaging home warm-up match that allow us to prep for our away game in Singapore, which is going to be a close contest; and the players who have just completed the Premier League games will be well-adjusted also."

The opponent for this international friendly match was named after much consideration. The association has also consulted the Premier League Committee and obtained agreement from the clubs to adjust the Premier League schedule during mid-March, moving some of the stronger matches ahead to make sure players can be in the best condition when visiting Singapore as announced yesterday.

The ticket arrangements for the Macau events will be announced in due course.
