The victory secured their place in the final.

In a thrilling encounter at the Sha Tin Racecourse S/G on Wednesday, Wong Tai Sin faced off against Yau Tsim Mong in the semi-final of the Jockey Club Futsal League(FA Cup) . The match was an intense goal-scoring battle, with Wong Tai Sin emerging as the victors with a close 6-5 scoreline, courtesy of a brace by Kwok Chun Tung. The victory secured their place in the final.
Both teams started the game aggressively and Yau Tsim Mong took the lead in just 5 minutes through a well-placed corner, Leung Cheuk Hei’s close-range effort was blocked by the goalkeeper, he then found the loose ball first and headed the rebound home. Yau Tsim Mong was up 1:0. However, their advantage was short-lived as Wong Tai Sin equalized immediately. Chan Cheuk Kwong’s powerful free-kick hit the opposing goalkeeper and went in as an own goal.

Wong Tai Sin started to gain control of the game after the equalizer. On the 12th minute, Kwok Chun Tung connected with a lovely pass from Lui Chi Fung and unleashed a powerful shot but was denied by the crossbar. Just one minute later, Kwok Chun Tung had another scoring chance and this time his long-range strike found the bottom corner of the net, putting Wong Tai Sin in the lead. On the 13th minute, Baxter Dwain David knocked the ball towards the middle, Lui Chi Fung was on the right position and smashed it home, extending Wong Tai Sin’s lead to 3:1. 

Yau Tsim Mong put up a valiant fight and had several scoring chances. On the 14th minute, Tse Chun Choi 's powerful strike from the edge of the box was heroically blocked by Chan Cheuk Kwong on the goal line. It wasn't until the 18th minute that Yau Tsim Mong's effort paid off as Pang Tsz Wai took advantage on a counter-attack chance and beat the goalkeeper one on one, reducing the scoreline to 2-3. However, just a minute later, Yau Tsim Mong suffered another setback as Cheng Tsz Lung fired a fierce shot after cutting inside from the left flank that found the back of the net. As a result, Wong Tai Sin went into halftime with a 4-2 lead.

After the halftime break, both teams continued to fight for goals. On the 27th minute, Lui Chi Fung skillfully evaded a defender in the middle and delivered a pass to the unmarked Lin Chi Shing, who drilled the ball calmly into the back of the net, making it 5-2. Despite being three goals down, Yau Tsim Mong was not giving up and kept searching for opportunities. On the 31st minute, Pang Tsz Wai picked up a cross from Chan Tsz Fung inside the box and slotted the ball home from close range, reducing the deficit to 3-5. But Wong Tai Sin extended their lead again with a goal from Kwok Chun Tung. Although Yau Tsim Mong fought back with two goals from Chan Tsz Fung through a long shot and penalty kick, bringing the score to 5:6, it was too late for Yau Tsim Mong to go further. The score eventually stood towards the final whistle, as Wong Tai Sin defeated Yau Tsim Mong through a 6:5 victory, securing their place in the finals.
