HKFC and Major League Football Academy clashed heads in the Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre for the Jockey Club Women's Football League FA Cup Quarter Final match. The match resulted in a victory for HKFC, with a score of 1-0.

The game started with a golden opportunity for Major League Football Academy only two minutes in, as a mistake by HKFC in their back count allowed Tongyon Kim a one-on-one chance. However, Tongyon Kim failed to turn it into score as a HKFC defender chased back on time and cleared the ball.Hong Kong Football Club gradually took control of the game and produced numerous scoring chances. Colpaert Anna Jeongmin’s long-range attempt missed the target after amazing run in the front of the box on the 6th minute and Moloney Shannon Chole’s long shot after that also went wide.

HKFC came again two minutes later, Colpaert Anna Jeongmin’s pass found the unmarked Fung Yick Ning in the penalty area,but the latter’s effort was blocked by the goalkeeper.On the 20th minute,HKFC had another solid scoring chance, Moloney Shannon Chole blasted the ball towards the top corner at the edge of the box,only to see her effort was denied by the crossbar.

Major League Football Academy had a rare chance on the 23rd minute. Clemence Jeanne broke through two defenders on the left but she couldn’t generate enough power for her shot which was easily saved by the goalkeeper. As a result, both sides ended the first half with a scoreless draw.

Although HKFC still had more possession in the second half, their attack was limited by Major League Football Academy’s tight defense. Grainger Ines Jade's long shot was caught by the goalkeeper easily on the 54th minute, while Colpaert Anna Jeongmin's close-range shot from inside the penalty area after picking up a cross from the left on the 70th minute was also blocked by the goalkeeper.

HKFC finally broke the deadlock on the 73rd minute, as Tringa Julie Charlotte Cecillia was fouled in the penalty area and awarded a penalty, which was converted by Colpaert Anna Jeongmin into the bottom right corner, giving Hong Kong Football Club a 1-0 lead.

Major League Football Academy tried to come back but Clemence Jeanne's two long shots did not pose much threat to the goalkeeper, and Ava Lena Grace Singer's shot from outside the penalty area also missed the target. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Football Club's Colpaert Anna Jeongmin and Blanchard Caitlin Arianna also missed several scoring chances. The 1:0 score stood all the way towards the final whistle,as HKFC defeated Major League Football Academy though a 1:0 victory and successfully advanced to the next round.
