In the Jockey Club Futsal League - Division 2B match played at the Moreton Terrace Temporary Playground on Thursday (4 May), So Ngai Chung provided one goal and one assist for Tuen Mun FC, helping his team to defeat Kwai Tsing through a 2:0 victory.

 

Kwai Tsing came out more aggressive after the opening whistle. On the 2nd minute, Chan Chi Kin connected with Liu Chak Yiu’s pass towards far post, only to see his effort saved by the goalkeeper. On the 8th minute, Wong Tin Long unloaded a low drive outside the box but sent the ball wide. Tuen Mun FC began to dominate the game after settling down and broke the game open on the 10th minute, So Ngai Chung knocked the ball towards the far post, the unmarked Yiu Yee Lok took care of the rest and made it 1:0.

 

Tuen Mun FC continued to dominate the game afterwards. Ma Ying Kit Alfred set off an amazing run after a successful defence but his long-range shot went over the crossbar. Two minutes later, Chu Pak Yin picked up a lovely pass from Ma Ying Kit Alfred and pulled the trigger at the edge of the box,only to send the ball wide.

 

It was Kwai Tsing’s turn on the 14 minute, Tao Ping Chun,Sonic connected with a long pass from teammate but his shot just missed the target. Tuen Mun FC managed to double their lead just before halftime. Wai Wan Kit shook off his marker unleashed a powerful from from the right, the goalkeeper did well to paved away but he couldn’t stop So Ngai Chung’s rebound goal. The first half finished with Tuen Mun FC enjoying a 2:0 lead over Kwai Tsing.

 

In the second half, Kwai Tsing came out more determined and kept pressuring Tuen Mun FC.On the 22nd minute, Wong Tin Long’s powerful free kick was paved away by the goalkeeper ,following by a long-range shot which was hitting the post two minutes later.

Despite having several chances to shoot from outside the box afterwards, Kwai Tsing failed to challenge the Tuen Mun FC goalkeeper, with Wong Tin Long missing two more long-range attempts on the 27th and 31st minutes. Tuen Mun FC managed to hold on to their lead until the end of the game, winning 2-1 and taking all three points.
