Mr. Andres Portabella, Club Licensing Consultant of FIFA Women's Football Division, visited Hong Kong from March 16 to 19 to meet with clubs which have been granted Women's Club License issued by the Football Association of Hong Kong, China, namely Chelsea FC Soccer School (HK), Grace Citizen, HKFC, Kitchee, Major League Football Academy, Sha Tin, Tai Po and WSE. Mr. Portabella visited all the clubs' offices and met with club representatives to understand their daily operation and experience in the licensing process. Mr. Portabella also visited the Jockey Club HKFA Football Training Centre and observed regular trainings of women's representative teams.

Another highlight of Mr. Portabella's visit was the women's club licensing workshop conducted on March 18. At the workshop, Mr. Portabella elaborated on the impact of women's club licensing and its linkage with women's football development. Inspiring examples from countries all around the world were presented to the participants. At the end of the workshop, Mr. Portabella was invited to present women's club license certificates to the clubs.

The Association would like to thank the support provided by FIFA in women's club licensing development through the “FIFA Women's Club Licensing Support” programme. The great efforts from clubs in improving the administration and management through the club licensing process are very much appreciated. The Association will continue to work together with our women's clubs to pursuit further progress in club development.
