Kwun Tong quickly gained control of the game after the opening whistle and broke the game open early by Wong Ho Hei’s powerful shot on the 7th minute. Few minutes later, Liang Jierui tried his luck outside the box, but he sent the ball over the Sphere Soccer Academy crossbar. Sphere Soccer Academy produced its first attack on the 12th minute, Ku Kwan Nam dished a curling freekick from distance,only to send the narrowly wide off the target.
Kwun Tong kept putting pressure on Sphere Soccer Academy defence in the second session. On the 22nd minute, Chen Xaoxiang connected with a fine through pass from Wong Shing Kit Joseph and pulled the trigger, but his effort was just missed the target. One minute later, Wong Ho Hei found his second goal of the game by a cracking shot at the edge of the box. Kwun Tong added another goal on the 26th minute, Cai Man Hei picked up a fine pass from teammate and fired the ball home. Kwun Tong was up 3:0.
Kwun Tong was not done on the day and generated numerous scoring chance in the third session, Liang Jierui beat the goalkeeper on a one-one-one situation after a successful gegenpress. On the 54th minute, Cai Man Hei finally found his second goal after several attempt in this session,the goalkeeper did well to paved away a teammate’s shot, Cai Man Hei was in the perfect position and rebounded the ball home.The score stood all the way towards the final whistle,as Kwun Tong cruised past Sphere Soccer Academy by 5:0 and took home all three points.
