On Saturday (October 18), Lee Man secured a crucial 1:0 victory over Eastern DIstrict in the BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League clash at Mong Kok Stadium, collecting all three points.
Lee Man started brightly and threatened early. Just three minutes in, Tachibana Ryoya whipped in a dangerous cross from the left flank, finding Baffoe Noah who rounded the keeper before seeing his tight-angled effort heroically blocked by EHelio Goncalves on the goal line.
The breakthrough came in the 10th minute as Lee Man's pressure paid off. Barak Braunshtain launched a pinpoint ball into the box where Mikael Burkatt's thunderous effort was parried by the keeper, only for Goddard Cy to pounce on the loose ball and fire home the opener.
Lee Man maintained their dominance throughout the first period. Goddard Cy delivered a teasing cross that saw both Mikael Burkatt's header and Poon Pui Hin's strike denied by the Eastern custodian.
The 28th minute brought another golden chance for Lee Man. Barak Braunshtain's corner kick found Baffoe Noah rising majestically above the defenders, though his header sailed agonizingly wide of the target.
Eastern Distrcit showed signs of life before the interval. Takatori Seito rattled the woodwork with a fierce drive from the edge of the area, while Bruno Bianconi's header from a corner kick also failed to trouble the scoreboard.

After the restart, Lee Man continued to dictate proceedings. The 53rd minute saw Baffoe Noah unleash a venomous strike from an acute angle that the keeper could only palm onto the crossbar.
The chances kept flowing for Lee Man. Merabi Gigauri connected with Tachibana Ryoya's through ball but dragged his powerful effort narrowly wide of the upright.
Eastern District carved out a gilt-edged opportunity in the dying stages. Takatori Seito dispossessed his marker high up the pitch before teeing up Ahmed Waseem, whose goal-bound effort was superbly kept out by the Lee Man shot-stopper.
When the final whistle blew, Lee Man had ground out a hard-fought 1:0 triumph to bag maximum points.
